If you do get a badge number, it won’t go away until you log out which is a pain especially if you’re using 2FA. If you’re lucky you’ll see a badge number, but that’s rare. If you’re on your phone while a Mattermost notification comes through, you won’t see the pop up. Notifications sometimes send (we’re on the enterprise version) - the notification server works when it wants to. But my god, is this the buggiest software/app. It also ties in nicely with Jira and other well known webhooks: Cloudwatch, Jira etc. Look, I decided to implement this instead of Slack for my company because I can host on prem and have total control over the functionality. Can you attempt to upgrade to our latest release and try again? Our support team is really helpful and always available at if your issues persist I mean, it does work, but I would never choose it for wide scale Enterprise use. In that time, we moved to Slack and now to Teams. Took a YEAR for the developers to respond to this, and then it’s a “try our new version”. ![]() I can’t believe people would pay for an “Enterprise” license given its issues. But the overall service and apps combined is pretty awful. This app works, apart from the notification bug, so I’ll give it 3 stars. Lastly, the feature parity is just not there. Open-source should not equal poor support. Secondly, support is pretty much non-existent unless you want to go through a hassle of opening a GiuHub issue and hoping someone looks at it. Specifically to the iOS app, there are “stuck” notifications on the app icon. First, there are a lot of bugs with the server, the Mac client, and the iOS app. Unfortunately, I’m forced to use this service for my job but it’s definitely not Slack. Setting takes effect after restarting the app.Bugs, lagging feature parity, and poor support If enabled, Mattermost UI is rendered more efficiently but can lead to decreased stability for some systems.
